what is Transmogrification? Transmogrification is a way to turn your old favorite gear into updated gear with current stats. Say like there was a sword you loved back in Wrath of the Lich king. if you still have that sword, you can now replace your current sword that you're using with the model of the old wrath sword. so now your old sword would now have the same stat as your current sword but look like the old sword. there are some rules for using the Transmogrification.
1. You must have the same armor type. You can't be a death knight running around in cloth gear.
2. You must have the same weapon type. If there an axe you want to replace with a different model. You must also have another axe. The only weapon that are exception for this rule are bow's,gun's, and crossbow's.
3. You must have the weapon you want to replace the model with. You can't pull in a model out of mid air. You must already have the weapon you want to use to replace the current model with.
4. No legendary item can be use with transmogrification.
